I never wanted to get the H1N1 shot and I had never had a flew shot before. I was living with my mother for a short time while I was pregnant and my Step father kept pushing me to get one. He said that I was killing my baby if I didn’t get one that I was selfish and stupid and he would kick us out if I did not get one. I asked my obgyn and she told me honestly that there was little research done on this and that she was not sure if it was safe or if she was comfortable having to give it out. Still I had to take it against my wishes. I opted for the mercury free one (they tell you in the regular one there is no more mecury than a can of white tuna …do you know how much mercury is in white tuna? A LOT) A few months later I was in the bathroom throwing up blood and was taken later by ambulance to another hospital, they told me in the ambulance that they could not get a heart beat but when we arrived to the hospital everything is was fine, they said it was heart burn and gave me zantazck but I never had heart burn and I only threw up blood like that once it just seemed odd . When my daughter was borne there were many complications I was told that if my labour was a half hour longer my baby would have dies and un top of that her cord was wrapped around her neck and had a true knot in it. She is safe and healthy today but it seemed like most of my health issues and all of hers came after the shot. I am now being presured to give her vacines that I am not sure about I have the same gut feeling, but my doctor has literaly yelled at me and told me I was a bad parent for not getting them. I do not know what to do.

Hi, I am in tears as I write this. I am so angry with myself for having that stupid vaccine when I was pregnant with my daughter Sydney, who has just been diagnosed with Rett Sydnrome. She was born June 12, 2010 and is now 20 months old. She is unable to talk, walk, crawl, use her hands, or stand. She struggles to eat. The doctors tell us that she will likely end up in a wheel chair and need ongoing support through her life. I was pressured into taking the vaccine, saying it would be safe for my unborn child. My son also had the vaccine, he was 2 at the time. He is fine now, but within 5 minutes of taking the vaccine, collapsed and had a seizure. He has not had any history of seizures or fainting episodes and hasn’t had one since. He is now 4. I can’t help but see a pattern that alot of the still born children seemed to be male. After all my research into Rett Syndrome, and the genes that are affected by it, it is the males that die from it – either pre term or within a few weeks of being born. It is mostly the girls that live on with the symptoms. I hate the government and medical industry for giving me unsound advice and I am angry with myself for not researching it first. I am happy that I have a child that is here with me. Each day is a new challenge. I send my prayers to those that have lost children. My thoughts are with you and the tears I shed tonight are for you as well.

Hi,Iam sorry for my reading.But I donk no what to think abouth the treaded in the hospital my wife had 5 months of gestacion and her water fountain broke on january 15 and we wenth to the hospital and the doctor send her back home an my douther was ilive then after 3 days she had contraccions and my douther was born unlive my douther pass away doctor talk us that my douther is goin be fine with outh of water wich was lier ones she borned with a bunch of Bruises every were he never talk us abuth water aboid that babies injured ther self inside of their mothers.and then january 29 i take my wife back to the hospital with contraccions and in the hospital make us whait for about 35 or 40 minits to tread my wife then my dougther borned unilive and after my dougther born we habe to waith abouth 3.5 to 4 minits to the doctor see her thisi is a real negligence . and january the 25 my wife was beging to the doctor to stay in the hospital and he just ignored her.

I am sorry to hear of everyone’s FLU shot related pregnancy losses! I also thank all of you for posting your messages and informing others. My wife lost our little girl at 28 weeks, due to unknown placenta issues, possible thyroid level fluctuations, which all may could have been prevented with better Dr. care and observation. Although she was treated as a “typical” patient, not an individual. Due to these messages, my wife came across these posts and opted not to take the shot, especially when her workplace MANDATES it! She had a hell of a time trying to convince those in “charge” to give her a waiver, at least during this year, since she is pregnant. We even provided literature from the vendor stating the vaccine had not been tested and safe for preganant women. “Administer, unless there is a need”, well pregnancy and “to be safe”, is not a need. She almost lost her job, it amazes me how officials and government try to control us and have no repsect for individuals. We have been blessed again, as my wife is now 21 weeks pregnant again, with our 3rd child, and will be on pins and needles until we have that baby in our arms.

I have never heard of so many still births as i have in the last 2 years, my eldest is 14 and when he was born it was rarely heard of. Now i’m hearing a story a month of women giving birth to stillborn babies after having the combined flu/H1N1 or H1N1 on its own. There is no way this is not statistically significant, each baby should be having a post-mortem (if their parents wish) and an urgent investigation needs to be done. Why wont this happen? Because the government will then be liable for all these babies deaths by insisting pregnant women have this vaccine, and the drug companies will be put out of business with class-action lawsuits. There is a massive cover-up going on and we cant even talk openly with other women about it because there are no FACTs but so much circumstantial evidence. I am so so sorry for all of you who have experienced the loss of a baby.

I received in 2009/2010 the H1N1 and Seasonal Flu vaccine. My son at birth also received the Hep B vaccine. He was diagnosed with severe allergies at 3 weeks of age. To the point where he was scratching until he bled. He is now two. Hasn’t received any other vaccines and has been diagnosed with EOE. For those of you who had the H1N1 vaccine while pregnant how are your kids doing? What kinds of reactions have you seen? Are there many other cases of this kind of severe allergy out there? Thanks

It was two years today that I found out I was pregnant. On January 6, 2010, we were shocked to discover that we were expecting identical twins! We have three healthy children, and no history of miscarriage, so we had no concerns at all. We monitored the twins very closely since they were identical, and they do carry certain risks, but they were progressing beautifully. At each check up my OB highly encouraged me to get the H1N1 vaccine. I had the regular flu shot earlier in the fall, but he kept insisting that me and the babies were high risk and would certainly die if we did not have the vaccine. I still hesitated. After I reached my 2nd trimester, I was feeling more secure about the pregnancy and at my 15 week check up, I decided to get the shot. Both babies had perfect scans, perfect heartbeats, they were beautiful. It was such a sight to see these two identical babies growing inside me. Before I left, the nurse gave me the H1N1 vaccine. I began cramping and spotting 3 days later. They told me it was normal since there was no clots coming out and the cramps weren’t severe. 2 days later I just felt something was wrong and I demanded to see my OB to check on the babies. Sure enough, no detectable heart beat. We did an ultrasound and there were my lifeless babies floating around my placenta. I went numb. I went to the hospital that day and gave birth to my stillborn identical twin daughters, Emily and Isabella. I had them do an autopsy, and there was nothing definitely wrong with either baby. Of course they insist it had nothing to do with the H1N1 vaccine. How can they honestly say that?!?!? I know for a fact that if I did not have that shot I would’ve been giving kisses to my beautiful girls tonight wishing them a happy new year. Instead, I send my kisses up to heaven.

Got my flu vaccine during my 28 weeks pf pregnancy and i never experience that. I’m on my 33 weeks now and just waiting for my big day. I think swine flu(h1n1) vaccine is different from the real flu vaccine.

I am so sorry for those who lost their babies. Some one really needs to look into this! Not only pregnant woman but young kids as well! My son and i both got the vaccine. He was 10 months old at the time. He was already starting to talk and saying mom, dad, cookie, milk, ect. Well we got the vaccine, a few days later got H1N1, I got Pneumonia very bad he he had the begginings of it when we found it. After he got sick, he stopped talking and has been having troubles ever since. He was over 2 1/2 before he said 2 words together! He is now 3 {well in a few days} and is still servely behind. He will be starting speech therapy next week to help. It makes me sick to see all these thingss about this vaccine and they are still giving it! Me and my kids will never get this vaccine again, especially when it doesnt protect you anyways, i still got it. And i read an artical that said even the maker of it said there was no proof that it even worked. If i can find that artical again i will post a link, there is alot of scary things in the artical

Thank you all for sharing your experiences. I just left my first OB GYN visit with my first baby and was encouraged by my doctor to get the flu shot. My DH said to do further research first and I came accross this site with your comments. I am so very sorry for your losses, what a truly difficult situation to go through and manage. I am currently 16 weeks pregnant and am being pushed by my midwife to get the combined flu/h1n1 vaccine. I will NOT be taking it. I had my reservations and gut feeling and now i know not taking this jag is the right thing to do.

I recently underwent IVF and transferred two perfect blasts. At 14dpo my beta was 365. At 18dpo beta was 1577. Dr. said levels were awesome and were hinting towards twins. I was later advised by my nurse to get the flu shot. I was hesitant and told her that I had gotten the vaccination in 2009 and it made me sick for over a week so I really didn’t want it. She told me that it is advisable for pregnant women to get the vaccine. WHY DID I LISTEN????? Thursday, November 10th I received the Flu/H1N1 shot at Walgreens. I started cramping, spotting and had lower back pain that same night. I was put on pelvic rest for the remainder of the night. Friday, I did not have any apparent bleeding. Two days later, Sunday night, I started bleeding a lot and cramping again. The following day I had an ultrasound at 5 weeks 4 days pregnant. There were two sacs but only one of the sacs contained a fetus and one heartbeat beating strong at 107 bpm. The baby was measuring on schedule at 5 weeks 5 days. Still my doctor was concerned about the bleeding and m/c of the first baby so he put me on bed rest for the next couple of days. I had a complete miscarriage that same night. I am so heartbroken. If only I would have followed my gut and not gotten the vaccination. Never again!

Thank you for sharing this information and I am sorry for those of you who have experienced a loss. I am 13 weeks and was recently told I need to get the flu shot. I have now decided not to get it after doing some research and realizing I have not ever got it in the first place so why now. I try to eat healthy, exercise a maintain a low stress-level to avoid lowering my immune system. I am also taking the pre-natal multi and the prenatal DHA.

I got pregnant in Jan 11 and was offered the flu/h1n1 vaccine and got an appointment for the 19th March 2011 ! I missed that appointment because i decided i was to scared to get the needle (I am terrified of them ) I had a miscarriage on the 21st March (2 days later ) The reason me telling this is because i myself would 100% without a doubt blamed the vaccine for this happening if i got so i am glad i never ! I am now 21 weeks along with our second little boy and will get the vaccine this time but am going to wait a little bit longer to get it maybe 30 weeks ? I am sorry for everyone who has lost their little angels but miscarriage are common in the early weeks and i think that maybe the vaccine wasn’t not to blame that it was meant to be so don’t feel guilty about getting it x

I got the flu shot on Thursday now I am on birth control today I had a really scary dream that I was at the Dr and she told me I was pregnant I woke up in a panic and started having cramps I went to the bathroom and now I am bleeding I have no idea if it is a miscarriage or because of my birth control shot I have no kids and have no idea what to do please help me I’m really scared

I was just about full term with my pregnancy due on 4/4/10 when I received the double flu/h1n1 shot. Granted I had been diagnosed with gestational diabetes prior to this, things were still looking pretty good. Because had the diabetes and because my baby was breached, I had to go for weekly non stress testes. I had gone in for my last test on 3/25/10 and had another ultra sound. My baby had flipped which was a great sign and I was starting to contract and slowly started to dilate as well. Since my son had been breached prior to this we had set up a c-section apt for the 29th. On the 25th I asked them to please take him because I was scared something might change and I was just about ready to go anyways. But NO! They sent me home instead and told me to wait it out. I was so upset and nervous. I had a bad feeling (mother knows best)!! I believe it had only been about a week since I had the shot. I was uncomfortable to get the shot in the first place because there was not much (if any) research done. I TRUSTED my doctors!! Any way…. The 25th was on a Thursday and on Saturday the 27th I felt my baby’s last big kick. Like I said I knew something was terribly wrong instantly! I called the doctor and the nurse had told me that my son probably just has no more room and thats why I don’t feel him anymore, but since I was so sure something had gone wrong she told me to come in for an ultrasound. First they checked his heart and there was no sound. She told me not to worry and got the ultrasound set up…. My son had passed away. I of course asked for an autopsy, but when I received the results the reason was undetected. I thought maybe it was the diabetes but I had gotten that under control and they would’ve known if that was it. Then I was sure it had to have been the shot! I was watched so carefully by my doctors and did everything right. I have a -A blood type but knew that before I was pregnant so I received the proper care for that too. I just find it so bizarre that I got the shot and then a week later my son passed. And like many others here, the cause is undetected. My son was a stillborn at full term and born on 3/29/10 (the day they were going to deliver him before.

Friends and family ~

Here is the story after Chris and I have been doing research tonight we believe this is what happened…

… Last Tuesday the appointment at GMC I received a influenza vaccine ~ Wednesday baby was fine on Ultrasound and saw strong heartbeat (in fact they told us that it was excellent that you could see it so early!).. On Friday was starting not to feel “right” and Saturday m…uch of the same ~Sunday started to spot/bleed and lost the baby.

As you all know I am a Infection Control Nurse – I believe in the Influenza vaccine in face PRO VACCINES ~ BUT after researching this tonight I WILL NEVER GET ANOTHER FLU VACCINE! The CDC is NOT reporting to the Flu vaccine manufacturers that there was a 700% increase of Miscarriages last year after they added the H1N1 to the vaccine. 700%!!!!!!! Increase!

Also on the pamphlet that is with the actual influenza vaccine vial there is no warning!! The CDC encourages pregnant women to receive it!

PLEASE TELL EVERYONE THAT YOU KNOW THAT IS PREGNANT OR THINKING OF BECOMING PREGNANT OR MAY BE PREGNANT ~ NOT TO TAKE THE VACCINE or to do more research prior to taking the vaccine. I ONLY WISH NOW THAT I HAD DONE MORE RESEARCH ON THIS AND WOULD HAVE GONE WITH THE RISKS OF POSSIBLE INFLUENZA VERSES LOOSING OUR LITTLE ANGEL.

Pregnant women are miscarrying anywhere from a few hours to a week after receiving the vaccine!! ( second and third trimester women are going into early labor also)

There is NO research that they are doing to explain what is happening to these babies during the first trimester after mothers are receiving this vaccine! No warnings just blogs on the Internet of hundreds of women who have gone through what we have gone through. Not everyone is miscarrying but again 700% increase!?

We cannot in any way prove this is what happened but I have contacted WNEP, ABC news and posted to numerous pregnancy blogs of these risks that our Government is not telling anyone.

I only wish I would have been more proactive about this as I am everything else!
