U.S. health authorities have made pregnant women one of the highest priority groups for getting the H1N1 swine flu vaccine, but is it actually safe for pregnant women and their babies? Well, the truth is that miscarriage reports from pregnant women who have taken the H1N1 swine flu vaccine are starting to pour in from all over the nation. Vaccines and pregnancy simply do not mix safely. In fact, the package inserts for the swine flu vaccines actually say that the safety of these vaccines for pregnant women has not been established.
What you are about to read below should shock and anger you. If they are telling us that the swine flu vaccine is not safe for children under 6 months of age, then why in the world would it be safe for pregnant women and their babies? That doesn't make an ounce of sense, does it?

I am so upset. I was so excited to be pregnant after trying for a year. As soon as I found out I was pregnant, I joined this birth club and I was due June 25th. We have two healthy boys with no history of miscarriage. Everything was going great. Last Monday, I got the H1N1 vaccine thimerosal reduced (mercury reduced for pregnant women). On Tuesday morning, I started cramping and on Wednesday I started bleeding heavily. My hcg was 50 on Wednesday and I was almost 6 weeks along so it was low. They still thought that I might be pregnant but on Friday my hcg was down to 22. I am an emotional wreck. I feel like I had a healthy baby and I caused this by getting the H1N1 vaccine. My doctors pushed it. I researched online and there have been many miscarriages after the H1N1 vaccine but they haven't been reported since it is hard to say what caused the miscarriages. I hope that I did not cause this. I wish everyone the best.

I don't have an answer for you, but a friend of a friend just had a miscarriage 2-3 days after getting the shot. She was 7weeks. She had no previous history of m/c... No one can answer if they're related...it hasn't been out long enough and there haven't been any studies done on pregnant women. I will tell you, that it has made up my mind on getting it...I won't and I'm not going to get it for my DD either. My daughter and I both had H1N1 last week, and although it truly sucks...I think I'll take my chances. One doctor will tell you to get it and the next will tell you not too...you have to do what's in your heart.

my heart goes out to you as i recently miscarried as well and was due in june. i had a healthy heart beat at 6wks. then at 7.5 wks my son got the h1n1 mist vaccine which has live vaccine in it. the nurse said to be careful b/c it could technically spread if he rubbed his nose and touched a surface etc. the next night i miscarried and 5 days later was diagnosed with h1n1. i work from home, kids are home, hadnt been anywhere during that time. so the chances that it is all related are very high. the flu mist vaccine warns for immunocompromised patients (which includes prego) to stay away from recipients of the flu mist for 21 days.

I also received the H1N1 vaccination on October 22nd, 2009 and went into labor on October 25th, at 16 weeks pregnant and we just heard the heartbeat and everything was fine with my pregnancy on October 16th, 2009, then on October 28th my water broke then on October 29th, I delivered a stillborn baby boy, and no one can tell me why…Everyone wants to say it did not come from the shot but I believe it did. My baby was growing at the correct pace and everyone wants to brush off the vaccination. I say if you have the vaccination and suffer a miscarriage if they are able to perform an autopsy have it done.
I also agree something needs to be done and looked more into with this vaccination because most women are being advised it’s just something that happens, but I also had two healthy children normal pregnancies and when I received this vaccination with my third pregnancy, my baby is gone.

I received the H1N1 vaccine on October 16th and started experiencing cramping on the 22nd. I was nearly 17 weeks pregnant and gave birth to a stillborn baby boy on the 23rd. Like many of the other women here, the first thing I suspected was the H1N1 vaccine. I immediately asked a nurse at the hospital if that would have anything to do with it. Without hesitation, she told me “absolutely not.” I had reservations about getting the vaccine, but followed the advice of my long trusted family doctor. In a follow up appointment with my doctor 3 days after I lost my baby, I asked him if the vaccine would have had any adverse effects on my baby. He also said that it was not possible. I don’t believe that my doctor was necessarily lying to me, he was simply following the accepted practices and opinions of his field. I do, however, believe that as a nation, we are being lied to. This vaccine is NOT safe during pregnancy. There has not been enough testing done to determine this and there are far too many “coincidences” for this to be anything but a result of a vaccine that was hastily pushed into production and distribution in an effort to stop widespread panic. I have read so many stories in defense of the vaccine that will talk about how common miscarriages are, but I would challenge you to ask ANY health care professional how common second trimester miscarriages are. My baby was doing perfect developmentally and I had felt him move earlier that day. My heart goes out to all of you out there who have had to go through the same heartache and loss that I have had in the last couple of weeks. There is no reason that any woman or family should have to go through this. Get the word out to all of the pregnant women that you know. I know that if I had heard that women had been losing their babies shortly after they received the vaccine, I would have followed my gut and not gotten it myself. Maybe then Wyatt would have had a chance at life.

I’m from a town of 2000 in SD, there are several women pregnant and we are all due within a few weeks of each other. Four of us got the H1N1 vaccine 2 weeks ago and one by one each of us started to have preterm contractions. We are all due in Nov and Dec so we are further along than most of the people that lost their babies. There is no way you can tell us that our preterm labor was not caused by the H1N1 vaccine. It may look like a “fluke” to some people when these women are scattered all over the country but we are talking about 4 of us in our small community. My heart goes out to all of you that lost your babies.

I got a flu shot in pregnancy, developed incredibly strange symptoms immediately (numb hands, feet and mouth, heart palpitations, sudden weakness in my legs, a bright red face), began bleeding and miscarried by 11 weeks. I had no idea there was mercury in most flu shots but once I found out after the fact, I was assured that I’d had the “mercury free” form. As it turned out, the shot wasn’t completely mercury free and, according to the EPA website, it still had 5,000 times the limit for mercury in drinking water– not to mention a list of other toxins (MSG, formaldehyde, etc.).
I’d had no idea the shots were so dirty. I guess I’d been under the impression they were something like sterile water and a dead virus, that’s it.
The strange symptoms– which I’d been told were “just pregnancy” lasted six months. No one could figure out what was wrong with me, why I couldn’t make stairs, why I felt like I’d been shot with novocaine. I learned later from a book by Jane Hightower that these were all symptoms of mercury exposure. I guess I’m one of those susceptible people. No one in my family is getting the H1N1– no one even gets regular flu shots anymore, we all read labels.
If you are a pregnant mother, please do not take the H1N1 swine flu vaccine. Instead, do everything that you can do to avoid public places and make sure to wash your hands more than you usually would. Take extra large doses of immunity building vitamins and research many of the great natural ways for fighting the flu that are out there on the Internet.
The truth is that if you do take the vaccine and then something happens, you will NOT be able to sue anyone (thanks to Congress). You will have to bear all the responsibility yourself. That doctor who kept pushing and pushing it on you will tell you that it could not have been the vaccine and that you probably would have miscarried anyway.
Do you honestly want to inject a vaccine that may contain mercury, formaldehyde, polysorbate 80 (associated with infertility), triton X100 (a strong detergent), phenoxyethanol (antifreeze) and a whole bunch of other toxic ingredients into your system when you know that your baby will absorb it too and has no defenses against most of these things?

The reality is that if you are pregnant, you need to hear what both sides have to say before ever subjecting your baby to the swine flu vaccine. I was in support of vaccines and was comfortable with the fact that there is a national database that records “all” vaccine reactions so they can see trends and such – which is the info I got from my doctor.
Then, my daughter had a reaction to a vaccine at 18 months old. It was horrifying to watch her body swell for three days and not be able to do anything (Benadryl slowed the swelling, but couldn’t reverse it until three days had passed). I knew there were risks to vaccines, but it had seemed that the benefits outweighed the risks. I could have accepted that.
I was not prepared for the reaction of the medical community. My doctor’s office refused to admit it was a reaction – even while she was swelling! They were concerned about the swelling, asked me if I knew how it started, then, when I mentioned that I suspected the vaccine they sent me home and said I was imagining things. A few hours later she had to go to the ER. Later I took her to an allergist who confirmed that it was a reaction. He told me that a lot of people react to the 3rd DTaP shot – even if they’ve been fine before. Still, he encouraged me to continue getting all the shots except for the last DTaP.
No one ever reported any of this to the national database.
My pediatrician pressured me to get more shots for my kids, but I refused. I’ve recently found out my kids’ medical records falsely state that my kids DID get additional vaccines.
My daughter had been ahead on speech milestones at the time of the reaction, from that date (October) to the following July, she only learned 8 new words, and her language development froze. We’ve done three years of therapy now and she is in special ed.

My heart goes out to all who have suffered horrific events due to these vaccines. I have a beautiful 2 and 1/2 year old daughter who was born a month premature, at the time, all the health care practitioners involved in our lives strongly were pushing that she receive all the ‘necessary’ vaccines…. My mothers heart and gut reaction strongly said “no” but being a first time mom and feeling the pressures of our health care advisors I agreed to having her first set of shots done. Her condition quickly spiraled downward into 2am visits to the hospital for a Ventilator because her chest was so tight each breath was a huge effort. Each doctor who saw her assured me that this was more common than I thought and that she would likely ‘grow out of it’. Needless to say I will never let another vaccination needle touch her little body again. Weather our health system wants to admit it was related or not I cant help but believe that it was. Other than being small she was 100% healthy at birth and remained that way for 3 months…. until her first set of shots.

This is not science, rather, it is completely anecdotal. We have no way of knowing if these miscarriages would have happened without the vaccine. Miscarriages are VERY common. Grieving women will try to find a reason behind their pain and sadness. Vaccines that save lives should not be the target.

These anecdotal stories of miscarriages are dismissed by physicians as independent of the vaccine. However, the insert for all of the H1N1 vaccines all state that no safety studies have been done on pregnant or nursing women, who should only be vaccinated if critically necessary.
There is a simple solution to determine if the vaccine is causing miscarriages. The average rate of miscarriage is 20%. Therefore, the CDC needs to create a database in which each and every pregnant recipient of a flu vaccine must be tracked. Any miscarriages within a reasonable period of time must be reported as an adverse event, and compared with the number of pregnant recipients who carried full-term. If the percentage of miscarriages remains at 20%, then physicians can hold to their belief that these losses would have occurred regardless of the vaccination. If, however, an increase in miscarriages is noted, then the CDC and the general public have an urgent need to know.
I am so grateful that Dr Mercola noted long ago that even though the vaccine manufacturers are federally protected from lawsuits, they still cautioned pregnant and nursing women from receiving their vaccine. I chose not to get the flu or H1N1 vaccine.
Pregnant women who receive this vaccine cannot even call themselves guinea pigs, as any loss or damage to their child would automatically be dismissed as unrelated to a vaccine. They are not taking a risk so that others may be helped. Rather, they are the silent victims, unaware of their plight.
I don’t know where all of you people who got flu vaccines at less than 15 weeks pregnant live, but here in NY they won’t give them to you that early on. I’m sorry for all of your losses, but I don’t believe that those vaccinations were the sole cause of your miscarriages. The percentage of early miscarriage is actually really high, there are a lot of women who have a miscarriage who never even knew they were pregnant. Do your own research. Let us assume in 1970 one out of 70 boys was autistic. These boys would now be about 40 to 50 years old.
Where are they?
Please face the facts. We as a society are creating autistic children in greatly increasing numbers. This increase statistically correlates almost exactly both in time and number with the “vaccination” campaign that began in the 1980s.
To me from my point of view to have recomended this untested vaccine for pregnant women was an aim at our population. In short population control. There were no double blind studies as is the excepted method of testing for such a vaccine.

I am 18 weeks pregnant and was told by many that I was “being a bad mom” for not getting the H1N1 shot while pregnant. My husband and I discussed it and decided to not get a vaccine that is brand new and it seemed wierd that the media and everyone else would be pushing and scaring everyone to put something into their bodies that has not been around long enough to warn of the side effects. After hearing all of the tragic losses that so many families have had, I thank God (for helping us make the right decision)and my Dr. for not being pushy and giving her honest opinion, “They” say that pregnant women should get the vaccine (meaning the CDC and etc) and she would not say that she recommends it. My heart goes out to you all.
I am 8 wks pregnant. I went to my ob 3 wks ago to get blood work and I also received the h1n1 injection. I went for my first sonogram today and we found no heartbeat and opposed to seeing that I was 8 weeks, I only measures 5. After much thought, I can only say that I attribute the miscarriage to the vaccine. I am 33 years old and have 3 healthy children. My hope is that I am still able to conceive and the h1n1 has not taken that away from me. If you are pregnant, especially in your 1st trimester, please DO NOT GET THIS VACCINE! the cdc has not done enough research for it to be deemed safe for pregnant women. The H1N1 is not causing women to miscarry! Ever notice that all the people who are complaining about miscarrying are in the “very early” stages of their pregnancy where miscarriage is rampant? How many of you have heard of any pregnant women out of their first trimester having a miscarrige after they received the H1N1 shot? NONE!!!!!
First off, Mr. unknown, this is not a matter of political sides. You are the ignorant one and obviously have not lost a child prematurely. If YOU would have read more comments than you can count, you would have seen that there were women miscarrying PAST the first trimester as well.

Kevin wrote in about a co-worker’s wife that was 4 months pregnant and had the vaccine and miscarried. There was also another person who stated that she was 17 weeks along and had the shot and miscarried. Both of those are well “out of their first trimester” so your calculation of None is erroneous. (3) How dare you categorize what people are feeling/expressing as “complaining about miscarrying?” Miscarrying isn’t something that one complains about, it is something that most people mourn. I will end this here before I stoop to your level and start calling you all the derogatory names that spring to mind.

This is the thing about vaccines — by the time a vaccine is made and distributed, the virus has either mutated or is already out the door. The nature of diseases is to hit and then die out. By the time there was the vaccine for polio, polio was already on it’s way out! And even the maker of the polio vaccine is now saying maybe it was all a mistake and that he now doubts vaccines do much good. Scientists came and studied the antibodies of those people. NONE of them had the swine flu — 2% had the regular flu — and all the rest never had the flu at all (just bad colds)! I was encouraged to get the shot by my doctor and was not told that I should wait until I was further along. Also, I was not warned of any side affects accept for a sore arm where I got the shot. I was given the Novartis shot.

Please spend some time considering the above statements from people who know what they are saying; read some of the referenced paper. Could influenza be nothing else but an expression of low vitamin D levels in your body? IMO yes. It’s just that simple. So why, if their object is to alleviate our flu, instead of the toxic mercury they are injecting us with do they just not give us vitamin D3 supplements?

I miscarried last year at 18.5 weeks.
Reading all these comments, I went back to my calendar and noticed that my water broke 6 days after I got the flu shot. Our baby girl was still alive at the time but had passed by the time I delivered.
Autopsy / pathology found nothing wrong. 2nd trimester miscarriages are not as common.
Now this bothers me…
I was 4 1/2 weeks pregnant when I got the H1N1 shot. I started spotting 2 days later, then a 2 weeks later lost my baby. I have 2 kids, with no history of miscarriage. If I could take back getting it I would because I think it caused my miscarriage. My doctor does not believe it does.

I know the pain these women are experiencing and I am sorry for their loss. Miscarriage is hell.
I miscarried at 9 1/2 weeks in 2005. Here are some of the events that took place just before I found out that the pregnancy was terminating:
1. My son got his scheduled varicella vaccine
2. I ate a boatload of bacon
3. I took tylenol
4. I had dental work done
5. I had a sinus infection and took an antibiotic
6. I watched Law and Order marathon on TBS
7. I worked out strenuously (I felt dizzy afterward)
8. I had some spotting
9. I took birth control pills for about 2 weeks before I realized I was pregnant
10. I threw up a few times
11. I took 1 valium before I knew I was pregnant
12. I ate rare steak
My point is, I might have made a connection between any of these events and my miscarriage, but as a scientist, I know that correlation does not imply causation: in other words, I would have miscarried anyway. If I had gotten an H1N1 vaccination the week of my miscarriage, I might have seen a connection between those two events too. I’m not trying to put down anyone who is making this connection, and I know firsthand how you want to know the answer to why you lost your pregnancy. I’m also not speaking to the safety of the vaccine, only to whether or not you can draw the conclusion that the vaccine is dangerous based solely on these anecdotes about the timing of vaccinations and miscarriages. But miscarriage happens as often as 1 in three pregnancies by some estimates (source: march of dimes). Take heart: Most women, over 80% will bear a child after miscarriage. I did and I wish the same for everyone else. God Speed.
We’re hearing from lots of women who had miscarriages within days of the H1N1 vacccine BUT a percentage would have anyway (not sure what the “normal percentage is”). I wish some women who took the vaccine while pregnant and so far haven’t had a problem would speak up AND in x months when the babies are born SPEAK UP if there are problems!

Last month on Nov.16th I had my son premature at 22 weeks along in my pregnancy he lived 5 hrs and then died of heart failure. About a week prior I recieved the H1N1 Flu vaccine. I began cramping in my lower abdomin and bleeding heavily on thursday night and after 75 hrs of labor trying to keep my son inside me as long as posible I delivered him on monday morning. After reading many of these storys I am convinced that I would still be pregnant if I would have denied the vaccine!
P.s. To the dip sh%# that had something to say about the women who miscarried only being in there 1st trimester, well guess what I’m living proof that your statment is B.S. No uterus no opinion, so keep your mouth shut!!!!!
Miscarriages ARE very common, however only have a 9% occurence after a heartbeat is seen. And after 12 weeks the possibility goes down to less than 2%. I think it’s disgusting and awful that there is such a push for this on pregnant women wiithout any longterm studies.

i was 14 wweks pregnant almost and took the H1N1 shot because my dr. said to and a few minutes afterwards i had severe headaches and shortness of breath,i called everywhere but no one would tell me nothing, then a couple of days after that i started spotting blood and had to be taken to the emergency room for a threatened misscarriage,then 4 days later i went to the OBGYN for an ultrasound my baby was fine until a couple of days later when i went back for an ultrasound and my baby had died it was a missed miscarriage ihad to wait 2 days for them to do a dnc. I had my baby and placenta sent to the lab for testing ,the results came back my baby was healthy,my choromasones were fine everything was fine,even the sex ,she was a little baby girl!my baby girl! and i think we have all been misinformed by our doctors, and i think the H1N1 shot killed my baby! and i will fight to get the answers because i want justice for my baby!
We were in our 6 month of pregnancy, and we also got the vaccine, We also lost our baby, within 10 days of taking the vaccine. We also asked our Dr what could of caused this, they gave us many reasons, then we brought up H1N1 Vaccine, and before we could get the INE out in vaccine, they dismissed it as possible cause. I asked how could it be everthing else, and this is not even considered and dismissed immediately, I think if they did a study and found out that it does cause miscarriages, they entire health system would be under scrutiny and law suits.
It was our second child of which we do not have history of miscarriages or any medical or health issues. Upon delivery the baby looked pefect and no ambilical chord around its neck.
If you haven’t had a miscarriage, you shouldn’t comment about someone that has. This is my second miscarriage. I know my first miscarriage had absolutely nothing to do with the H1N1 shot (because it was in 2003), however, this time I believe there definitely could be a connection. I had 3 healthy babies after my first miscarriage. When I went to have my H1N1 shot (which was HIGHLY recommended by the Health Office workers since I WAS pregnant and I higher risk of H1N1), I was around 5 weeks pregnant. When I went in for my next ob appointment, I had an ultrasound that showed I was only 5 week and 2 days, although by that point I was almost 9 weeks pregnant. I never had any symptoms. The baby just died. Instead of reading about how pregnant women shouldn’t get the shot, the ONLY thing I read about pregnant women and the H1N1 shot is that they were top priority for the shot and should have it done as soon as possible. My doctor thought I may have just miscalculated and waited another few weeks to test levels (once a week) until we knew for sure what was going on. Three weeks later (should have been 12 weeks pregnant), I was told that the ultrasound was still showing 5 weeks and 2 days and that the baby was no longer living. I had to have a D&C. Not only was the physical pain traumatizing but the emotional pain was beyond bearable. Something needs to be done. PLEASE, take all of this into consideration before deciding if you are going to get the shot. I wish I wouldn’t have… There seems to be WAY too many stories for this to be a coincidence. If this is what our country is coming to, God, please help us all!
Yes, it is possible that this is just a coincidence. Possible, but not likely. Yes, miscarriages are common in early pregnancy. Yes, a person can have a miscarriage although they have had many healthy pregnancies in the past. Yes, it is possible that people are just wanting something to place the blame on (especially since it isn’t usually at the fault of the expecting mother). Yes, this could just be a publicity stunt to get more people interested in the shot. Yes, it could be Obama’s goal to keep us from reproducing at such rapid rates. Yes, there is a lack of research and results on this shot. Yes, there are handouts that are given before getting the shot. NO, not every handout advises pregnant women to not get the shot, in fact there are many that do the exact opposite. Yes, there is an increase of miscarriages since the shot has been made available. Unfortunately, there is one other truth. If it is found that the H1N1 shot has caused these miscarriages (or a great deal of them), NOTHING will be done about it. Even if people were able to sue, they still wouldn’t have the child they were carrying and loving inside of them. Money wouldn’t fix the pain. It might help the odds of someone conceiving quickly after a miscarriage (through medical assistance) or help someone adopt a child after losing all hope of giving birth to one of their own, but it will not be enough to give any of these mothers peace in this situation.
As for all of the women that lost their babies, I am very sorry. I know exactly how you feel. I am right there with you. I have the same exact thoughts and feelings running through me while reading this as you. My prayers go out to all of you. As for those that think this is ignorant, my prayers also go out to you. I pray that you will become a more sympathetic person and try to understand the pain of what these women have gone through. Who knows, it could be you are a loved one going through it next… I pray that isn’t the case though.

I got the H1N1 vacc. when I was 4 and a half weeks pregnanat. I started bleeding 2 weeks later and went to the doctor and was tol my pregnancy looked perfect for a 4 and a half week pregnanacy! Sounds like to me that everything was perfect until I got the vacc. We were completely devistated and I wish I knew the risks before I got it, but the docs will tell you miscarriages happen everyday, but that is not good enough for me.

I think the concern is that there is a rise in 2nd semester miscarriages and stillbirths and that one common thing happens to be the vaccine. I think this alone proves there needs to be more studies.
I miscarried in July and have been trying to get pregnant ever since. I had the shot a few days ago, even though I kept wondering if I should or not. Of course, my doctor told me it was safe. I thought I did all my research. Then almost immediately the next morning I was cramping and today bleeding. I was almost positive that I was finally pregnant again.
It is horrifying to think that all of these miscarriages were because of this vaccine, however I am one who believes that it is just too coincidental. Next time I will listen to what my own mind is telling me. I am so very sorry to hear about everyone else’s story.

Please go to FDA.gov website and download or fill out an online copy of a vaccine adverse event form here’s the link (if you also google “fda vaccine adverse event form” it will take you to this page)( http://www.fda.gov/BiologicsBloodVaccines/SafetyAvailability/ReportaProblem/VaccineAdverseEvents/default.htm) have your experiences registered with the fda so that the manufacturer can have a record of all of these events. My sister had the same experience at 5 mths pregnant and miscarried less than one week after she receive vaccine. If your physician is responsible he/she should report the incident even if there is no real way to prove the event happened due to the vaccine. In all of your stories there is strong temporal relationship with the vaccine administration and the onset of your miscarriages. If your physician is resistant to the idea of reporting, please do so yourself! consumer reports are valuable, but a report from healthcare professional is viewed as more reliable to the manufacturers. Please continue to try to conceive and dont let this bad experience deter your efforts to grow your families.

My daughter in law was in her sixth month and everything was fine. The baby was expected in April. Mid December she had the H1N1 flu shot and on January 5th she had a miscarriage and lost the baby. The pliscenta seperated and she almost bled to death.
I have a friend that was far into a healthy pregnancy with a baby girl. she got the h1n1 vaccine at around 6 months into her pregnancy.Two weeks before her due date Jan 10, 2010 the baby past away in her womb. She had to give birth to the baby regardless.I can’t imagine how painful that could be, a totally healthy baby dieing two weeks before birth. All I know is that I wish I would have just not listened to anybody around me. I am going to school studying to be a drug and alcohol abuse counselor… I was very skeptical about getting the vaccine myself as I was aware that the vaccine was so new that and there wasn’t any possible way enough research could have been done on it, unfortunately I let everyone else around me talk me into getting that stupid shot and within a week I began noticing the very early signs of miscarriage, like consistent really painful backache which everyone told me was normal, really bad cramping, etc and I began spotting and eventually miscarried on November 10th, I was due on May 27th. Everything up to that point was completely normal. My boyfriend and I were really excited, we’ve been together for six years and trying for a baby for the last two and a half years, what made us more excited was the fact that we finally knew for sure it was possible for us to have a baby because he used to have bladder cancer and we didn’t think it was even a posibility. I feel to deceived that the health care providers and engineers of this vaccine could so easily push this to some many thousands and thousands of women. The thought just makes me sick to my stomach… these are people who are supposed to be taking care of others, and all they are doing is putting them through the psychological, and emotional pain of stripping away the life of an innocent child.
ANOTHER IMPORTANT THING TO BE AWARE OF… beginning this year the H1N1 vaccine will automatically be combined in with the normal flu shot…. so my advice, and I am not a medical doctor but rather somebody who just has COMMON SENSE do not get the seasonal flu vaccine as it will also contain the H1N1 vaccine. It is ultimately your choice but I WILL NEVER GET ANOTHER FLU SHOT FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!

I am so grateful that Dr Mercola noted long ago that even though the vaccine manufacturers are federally protected from lawsuits, they still cautioned pregnant and nursing women from receiving their vaccine. I chose not to get the flu or H1N1 vaccine.

My guess is you were not watching the TV during the H1N1 hype. Almost everyday on some program or news channel doctors were telling women to get these shots. I was amazed at what I was seeing and outraged. Virtually every TV doctor was laying a guilt trip on women who didn’t vaccinated, saying it was especially important for pregnant woman to get it along with the flu shot. There were very little warnings about the dangers, just the benefits. Get real.
