U.S. health authorities have made pregnant women one of the highest priority groups for getting the H1N1 swine flu vaccine, but is it actually safe for pregnant women and their babies? Well, the truth is that miscarriage reports from pregnant women who have taken the H1N1 swine flu vaccine are starting to pour in from all over the nation. Vaccines and pregnancy simply do not mix safely. In fact, the package inserts for the swine flu vaccines actually say that the safety of these vaccines for pregnant women has not been established.
What you are about to read below should shock and anger you. If they are telling us that the swine flu vaccine is not safe for children under 6 months of age, then why in the world would it be safe for pregnant women and their babies? That doesn't make an ounce of sense, does it?

I am so upset. I was so excited to be pregnant after trying for a year. As soon as I found out I was pregnant, I joined this birth club and I was due June 25th. We have two healthy boys with no history of miscarriage. Everything was going great. Last Monday, I got the H1N1 vaccine thimerosal reduced (mercury reduced for pregnant women). On Tuesday morning, I started cramping and on Wednesday I started bleeding heavily. My hcg was 50 on Wednesday and I was almost 6 weeks along so it was low. They still thought that I might be pregnant but on Friday my hcg was down to 22. I am an emotional wreck. I feel like I had a healthy baby and I caused this by getting the H1N1 vaccine. My doctors pushed it. I researched online and there have been many miscarriages after the H1N1 vaccine but they haven't been reported since it is hard to say what caused the miscarriages. I hope that I did not cause this. I wish everyone the best.

I don't have an answer for you, but a friend of a friend just had a miscarriage 2-3 days after getting the shot. She was 7weeks. She had no previous history of m/c... No one can answer if they're related...it hasn't been out long enough and there haven't been any studies done on pregnant women. I will tell you, that it has made up my mind on getting it...I won't and I'm not going to get it for my DD either. My daughter and I both had H1N1 last week, and although it truly sucks...I think I'll take my chances. One doctor will tell you to get it and the next will tell you not too...you have to do what's in your heart.

my heart goes out to you as i recently miscarried as well and was due in june. i had a healthy heart beat at 6wks. then at 7.5 wks my son got the h1n1 mist vaccine which has live vaccine in it. the nurse said to be careful b/c it could technically spread if he rubbed his nose and touched a surface etc. the next night i miscarried and 5 days later was diagnosed with h1n1. i work from home, kids are home, hadnt been anywhere during that time. so the chances that it is all related are very high. the flu mist vaccine warns for immunocompromised patients (which includes prego) to stay away from recipients of the flu mist for 21 days.

I received the H1N1 vaccine on October 16th and started experiencing cramping on the 22nd. I was nearly 17 weeks pregnant and gave birth to a stillborn baby boy on the 23rd. Like many of the other women here, the first thing I suspected was the H1N1 vaccine. I immediately asked a nurse at the hospital if that would have anything to do with it. Without hesitation, she told me “absolutely not.” I had reservations about getting the vaccine, but followed the advice of my long trusted family doctor. In a follow up appointment with my doctor 3 days after I lost my baby, I asked him if the vaccine would have had any adverse effects on my baby. He also said that it was not possible. I don’t believe that my doctor was necessarily lying to me, he was simply following the accepted practices and opinions of his field. I do, however, believe that as a nation, we are being lied to. This vaccine is NOT safe during pregnancy. There has not been enough testing done to determine this and there are far too many “coincidences” for this to be anything but a result of a vaccine that was hastily pushed into production and distribution in an effort to stop widespread panic. I have read so many stories in defense of the vaccine that will talk about how common miscarriages are, but I would challenge you to ask ANY health care professional how common second trimester miscarriages are. My baby was doing perfect developmentally and I had felt him move earlier that day. My heart goes out to all of you out there who have had to go through the same heartache and loss that I have had in the last couple of weeks. There is no reason that any woman or family should have to go through this. Get the word out to all of the pregnant women that you know. I know that if I had heard that women had been losing their babies shortly after they received the vaccine, I would have followed my gut and not gotten it myself. Maybe then Wyatt would have had a chance at life.

I’m from a town of 2000 in SD, there are several women pregnant and we are all due within a few weeks of each other. Four of us got the H1N1 vaccine 2 weeks ago and one by one each of us started to have preterm contractions. We are all due in Nov and Dec so we are further along than most of the people that lost their babies. There is no way you can tell us that our preterm labor was not caused by the H1N1 vaccine. It may look like a “fluke” to some people when these women are scattered all over the country but we are talking about 4 of us in our small community. I got a flu shot in pregnancy, developed incredibly strange symptoms immediately (numb hands, feet and mouth, heart palpitations, sudden weakness in my legs, a bright red face), began bleeding and miscarried by 11 weeks. I had no idea there was mercury in most flu shots but once I found out after the fact, I was assured that I’d had the “mercury free” form. As it turned out, the shot wasn’t completely mercury free and, according to the EPA website, it still had 5,000 times the limit for mercury in drinking water– not to mention a list of other toxins (MSG, formaldehyde, etc.).
I’d had no idea the shots were so dirty. I guess I’d been under the impression they were something like sterile water and a dead virus, that’s it.
The strange symptoms– which I’d been told were “just pregnancy” lasted six months. No one could figure out what was wrong with me, why I couldn’t make stairs, why I felt like I’d been shot with novocaine. I learned later from a book by Jane Hightower that these were all symptoms of mercury exposure. I guess I’m one of those susceptible people. No one in my family is getting the H1N1– no one even gets regular flu shots anymore, we all read labels.
If you are a pregnant mother, please do not take the H1N1 swine flu vaccine. Instead, do everything that you can do to avoid public places and make sure to wash your hands more than you usually would. Take extra large doses of immunity building vitamins and research many of the great natural ways for fighting the flu that are out there on the Internet.
The truth is that if you do take the vaccine and then something happens, you will NOT be able to sue anyone (thanks to Congress). You will have to bear all the responsibility yourself. That doctor who kept pushing and pushing it on you will tell you that it could not have been the vaccine and that you probably would have miscarried anyway.
Do you honestly want to inject a vaccine that may contain mercury, formaldehyde, polysorbate 80 (associated with infertility), triton X100 (a strong detergent), phenoxyethanol (antifreeze) and a whole bunch of other toxic ingredients into your system when you know that your baby will absorb it too and has no defenses against most of these things?

The reality is that if you are pregnant, you need to hear what both sides have to say before ever subjecting your baby to the swine flu vaccine. I was in support of vaccines and was comfortable with the fact that there is a national database that records “all” vaccine reactions so they can see trends and such – which is the info I got from my doctor.
Then, my daughter had a reaction to a vaccine at 18 months old. It was horrifying to watch her body swell for three days and not be able to do anything (Benadryl slowed the swelling, but couldn’t reverse it until three days had passed). I knew there were risks to vaccines, but it had seemed that the benefits outweighed the risks. I could have accepted that.
I was not prepared for the reaction of the medical community. My doctor’s office refused to admit it was a reaction – even while she was swelling! They were concerned about the swelling, asked me if I knew how it started, then, when I mentioned that I suspected the vaccine they sent me home and said I was imagining things. A few hours later she had to go to the ER. Later I took her to an allergist who confirmed that it was a reaction. He told me that a lot of people react to the 3rd DTaP shot – even if they’ve been fine before. Still, he encouraged me to continue getting all the shots except for the last DTaP.
No one ever reported any of this to the national database.
My pediatrician pressured me to get more shots for my kids, but I refused. I’ve recently found out my kids’ medical records falsely state that my kids DID get additional vaccines.
My daughter had been ahead on speech milestones at the time of the reaction, from that date (October) to the following July, she only learned 8 new words, and her language development froze. We’ve done three years of therapy now and she is in special ed.

I have a beautiful 2 and 1/2 year old daughter who was born a month premature, at the time, all the health care practitioners involved in our lives strongly were pushing that she receive all the ‘necessary’ vaccines…. Her condition quickly spiraled downward into 2am visits to the hospital for a Ventilator because her chest was so tight each breath was a huge effort. Each doctor who saw her assured me that this was more common than I thought and that she would likely ‘grow out of it’. Needless to say I will never let another vaccination needle touch her little body again. Weather our health system wants to admit it was related or not I cant help but believe that it was. Other than being small she was 100% healthy at birth and remained that way for 3 months…. until her first set of shots.

As far as I can remember the blood-brain barrier on a baby isn’t there until at least 6months. When my boys were babies, I too, took the advice of the system and had them vaccinated. The older one suffered for 2 1/2 years with ear infections. He would be on and off antibiotics; up at night crying incessantly from pain. When the child was 2 1/2 years of age the doctor (a specialist!!!) and his nurses pressured us to have the tonsils removed and I told them I did not want that done, but they said it had to be done. We went along with this procedure. He was in the hospital for the surgery one day and out the next. Then he got a throat infection, after which, he could not eat. He did not even take water. I told a European woman what was happening and she advised me to put him on cammomile tea, which I did and that cleared up the infection and saved his life.
The second boy suffered severe diarrhea for 6 months. He would have very large bowel movements 5 or 6 times per day. I took him to the pediatrician who just stood there like a dummy and said he did not know what could be causing this. He advised putting the child on soya lac. Really!!!
He finally overcame this but was all this illness necessary? I don’t think so. I believe it was directly caused by vaccinations. The children were poisoned. I began to learn about the dangers of vaccines and as a result my grandchildren were never touched by the poisoned needle. They have been healthy, and if they had a minor cold, etc, they were well within a day or so.
I began to read and study information about the dangers of vaccines and am of the opinion that no one should vaccinate anyone, ever. Babies must be given time to develop their immune systems. If we pump poisons into their little bodies, then it stands to reason, that the little body will want to eliminate the poison.

Read the inserts of the H1N1 vaccines. Go to your doctor and demand a copy of the vaccine insert. Go to your local drug store and demand a copy of the vaccine insert. I have not verified myself, because my family does not take vaccines, but I heard reports that “fertility issues” are a side effect of H1N1 vaccine.
I just did a search for H1N1 vaccine insert “the insert that goes in all the little vaccine boxes” and the below info is from a vaccine insert for H1N1 manufactured by Novatis. It says plainly it has not been tested for carcinogenesis “i.e., cancer causing effects”, mutagenesis “i.e., birth defects”, or impairment of fertility.

My guess is that it absolutely causes cancer, birth defects, and sterility. In some it may happen quickly, in some it may manifest years down the road. Believe me, they have all the statistical analysis and know exactly how many it will give cancer, birth defects, and sterility too.

THIS WEEK…. Tues 10 Nov 2:30pm I had the seasonal flu shot (not H1N1)– supposed to be safe for pregnant women & highly advised. Wed 11 Nov 4:30pm began bleeding and taken by ambulance to ER where heartbeat could not be confirmed externally. Thurs 12 Nov 9:30am internal ultrasound confirmed no heartbeat. Fri 13 Nov I had a D&C. My heart is absolutely broken.
I have never had a miscarriage before. Have 1 healthy son who I carried to term. No history of poor health (ie: diabetes, obesity, blood pressure, etc.)No drugs/alcohol. I eat a healthy diet with lots of raw veggies & fruit, but not vegatarian.
I heard my baby’s heartbeat just a few weeks before and everything seemed to be progressing normally. Now may baby is gone and there is nothing I or anyone can do to turn back the clock. I will never know if this immunization was the cause of my loss or what. But I am utterly broken.

I have got the regular flu shot (years ago) and both times fell very ill 30 days later..I am not a doctor but it does not take a degree to figure out some people react differently.I am 18 weeks pregnant and my heart has told me not to get either flu shot. Morgan – each of the H1N1 vaccine package inserts clearly says not only has safety not been established for pregnant women, but these should NOT be used on pregnant women “unless clearly indicated.” I have read and have a copy of these. This is a no-brainer. The insanity of making pregnant women and the youngest of children the highest priority for these vaccines is nothing short of criminal. I have a friend who lost her baby at 33 weeks’ gestation, shortly after receiving the flu shot last year–which also said the same thing, about not using “unless clearly indicated.” Hers was a completely uneventful pregnancy. She was healthy, and so were all the tests of her unborn baby. It is absolutely clear to me what killed her unborn child. I have seen the EPA’s recommendations for “safe” levels of mercury for babies as young as six months. The “trace” amounts of mercury left in those vaccines from which thimerosal was removed are still hundreds of times higher than this. Yet these are ok to give to women expecting babies much younger than a six month old. How stupid are we to continue to fall for these lies?

I haven’t received the H1N1 vaccine and don’t intend to. I am also not pregnant. What I have to say is a side point, because 29 years ago I was pregnant with twins and received several allergy shots. At the time of the shots, I did not realize I was pregnant. The result was terrible reactions to the shots, partial miscarriage of one of the babies (terrible deformities) and the surviving twin requiring surgery for congential deformities. Vaccines are poisons and the body reacts to them either at the time, soon after or down the road. It’s better to be safe (no immunization) than to be sorry(immunized).

A few years back I heard thimerosal (mercury additive) was being used the Hepatitis vaccine they give to newborns in Texas. I went and checked the insert and it was true. I elected not to give my newborn baby a mercury shot disguised as a Hepatitis vaccine.

I’m 37 weeks pregnant and I too have read the CDC info/package insert on the various forms of the H1N1 vaccine. Between what it says, the reports I’ve read about how bad the FDA is struggling (corrupt, short-handed, lacking in checks/balances and dropping the ball on proper testing procedures), *some* of the stories on here (not sure I totally buy the conspiracy theories though it’s naive to think that just b/c we’re in the US that our government couldn’t possibly be that evil and corrupt) and my own personal experience with flu vaccines, I’m not going near it.
I spent nearly a decade serving this country and some years we were ordered to get the flu shot. Those flu seasons I was vaccinated seemed like I experienced more illnesses and more severely than the years I did not. Pharmaceutical companies have never proven themselves to be a charitable industry that’s all about taking care of us; rather, they have proven over and over to be greedy and driven by profit. Based on this, how do I trust that they’ll hand me something to keep me from getting sick and needing more of their products (doesn’t make good business sense to me).
Thankfully, nothing came of it but a friend’s child found out two days after spending the day at my house that he was H1N1 positive (incubation is about 5 days so he would have been shedding the virus while in our company). 5 days later one of my sons started a mild fever and b/c we’re around lots of other people’s kids, my husband took him immediately to the pediatrician to get swabbed. I’m bordering on livid with the doctor because he decided that 1) since the fever he ran earlier in the day was so low AND he wasn’t running one in the office, that my son NEEDED to get both vaccines (yet both inserts say not to if you’ve had a fever within 24-48 hours) and 2) he gave my son the intranasal “active” vaccine for the H1N1 despite my husband telling the doc that I’m “imminent” with our new baby. The package insert says the active vaccine should NOT be used on anyone “high-risk” (including pregnant women) or anyone who is in regular contact WITH a high-risk person. Hello! I’m my son’s primary care provider 24/7!
Furthermore, to those who have dismissed the comments on here as paranoia and fiction, shame on you. First, you’re invalidating women who just lost babies (not fetuses… BABIES! Once a seed germinates, it’s a plant and what grows in a woman’s uterus is a BABY); you cannot make a judgement call on what caused it. The mother is the one living in her body, not you. And, to those that say there’s no supporting stats, these ARE the statistics happening. Of course no one wants to record them; that would cut into profits. We’ve always done the basic vaccines that have been around for years (Polio, MMR, etc.) because, for the most part, those have proven effective. I was also given the chicken pox vaccine when I joined the service; time (and exposure) will tell if it works. I have never experienced side effects from these nor have my children. Otherwise, I prefer to keep my family’s systems strong and allow them to build natural immunity the old fashion way.

Causes can can range from chromosomal abnormalities of the embryo to bleeding disorders, to inadequate hormone levels. Women are likely to find out that they are pregnant much earlier in these days of sensitive, accurate home pregnancy tests, making it possible to find out when you are as little as 4-5 weeks along. This early knowledge is the main reason that it seems that more women are miscarrying early in their pregnancy, when in reality, the numbers are probably fairly equivalent to those of our mothers and grandmothers. What we know to be a miscarriage, they may have contributed to a late, heavier than normal period. So, back to the H1N1 vaccine. The physiology of vaccines act upon the person’s immune system in an effort to build up their immunity to a specific disease or illness, the same as if you were exposed to the illness, only without getting sick from it. It has no effect on the uterus, bleeding or clotting factors, hormone levels, or the fetus itself. I am a Labor/Delivery nurse. I work with pregnant, laboring, and post-partum women everyday. I am personally seeing the effects of swine flu on these pregnant women. Due to the nature of pregnancy on the human body, the effects it has on the women’s fluid balance, immune system, and many other complex systems, this is one of the highest risk groups for severe complications of the flu (seasonal and H1N1). The infection tends to move into the lower tract of the respiratory system and attacks the lungs. Women can end up on ventilators with acute respiratory distress. THIS is why your OB and Family Physicians are encouraging you to receive the vaccine, they want to decrease your risks of serious health problems during your pregnancy. There is no conspiracy, your doctors do not receive a financial kick back by giving their patients the vaccine. They do it because it is the standard of care. Organizations that are specifically designed to enforce policies that keep the health and safety of pregnant women and unborn children are advising and supporting the use of the H1N1 vaccine in pregnant women.
That being said, the flu and H1N1 vaccines are optional. They are a personal choice that every person needs to make based on their knowledge and the use of this knowledge. That is why it is important to listen to the facts, not just the horror stories and conspiracy theories that are so easy to find with today’s overabundance of available information. With this accessible information, comes the responsibility to separate truth from fiction.
One further word on vaccines… Our generation has been fortunate to live in a country where vaccines have been available and utilized appropriately. Due to this, the most of the diseases that we vaccinate against are almost eradicated. Polio, Measles, Mumps; all decreased due to vaccines. Thankfully, we have never lived in a time when these diseases could wipe out entire families, even communities. But it wasn’t that long ago, that this was a very real possibility. Ask yourself this; if there was a disease with this potential with a life saving “cure” today, would you withhold that from your children? Would you put yourself at risk by refusing it? We get caught up in today’s hype but don’t stop to think about how desperate the families of 100 years ago would be to have the opportunities that we take for granted today.
Please make an informed decision.
I think it’s good to get all the information you can so you can make an informed decision. I’m 10 weeks along, had the H1N1 vaccine three weeks ago, and both the baby and I are fine. I also have two children – 2 1/2 and 10, and they’ve had all the scheduled vaccinations – and they’re fine, too. Actually both of them are intelligent and emotionally stable kids.
I’m not saying that there aren’t risks to any vaccination (or medication). But not everyone falls into the small percentile that is adversely affected.

I was released from the hospital this morning after delivering my stillborn 26 week old son last night. I am a firm believer that the swine flu vaccine I received a few weeks ago contributed to my son’s demise. My baby was very active and then I received the vaccine. After that, I noticed a change in his activity and then I noticed no movement over the weekend. When I went into the doctor’s office yesterday, there was no heartbeat and I was induced. I would not wish this pain on my worse enemy. To carry a child for 6 1/2 months and then lose him is worse than anything imaginable.

The vaccination for pregnant women in Portugal started recently. I am not sure how many have been vaccinated but i can guarantee that not many because many people are hesitating…
Nevertheless, in just two days two pregnant women, healthy, with no previous conditions, both in the 34th week of pregnancy, lost thei babies 2-3 days after vaccination… of course hospitals are saying its nothing to do with the vaccine… it is all over newspapers in Portugal… both were 34 weeks on to their pregnancies…

NL – Yes, the flu and H1N1 vaccines are optional, but the other vaccines for children are not. There are risks in anything, so why do I HAVE to get my kids the shots or they don’t go to public school. Is that optional? Do you have any idea how many people I know, mainly little boys, have developed autism after having one of those very small, harmless shots that we’re told are perfectly safe? Nearly a dozen! Emily, i read your post and your story is so similar to mine. I live in Toronto, Canada and got the h1n1 non-adjuvanted vaccine for pregnant women on Tues Nov 10th. I was 4 1/2 wks along. I started spotting next day but tried not to worry because i thought it may have been implantation spotting, next day I started bleeding heavily. I have miscarried the baby. Like you i will never know if it was the vaccine or not however it is heartwrenching to go through something like this. I have had 2 healthy full term pregnancies, no history of miscarriages, am healthy so I know in my heart the vaccine had to do with my loss. I have reported this possible side effect to Health Canada via email, they advised me to report back to the clinic where I received the vaccine so a proper side effect report will be filed. Apparently, I am the first women to report a miscarriage after receiving the h1n1 vaccine according to the MD who replied to my email. Not so sure about that. Perhaps women have not yet reported their miscarriages. I know several women are losing their babies around the world after receiving their vaccines, most recently 3 women in Portugal all in their 3rd trimester. Very sad. Again, my sympathies go out to you Emily and all the other women who have endured losses. God bless.
DA, all child “recommended” vaccinations ARE optional. You are NEVER forced to have them, even to go to public school (PS). There is a waiver that you need to sign (many times over) in order for your unvaccinated children to attend a PS, but it can and IS done every single day in this country by parents not afraid to stand up for their children’s rights. If you have gone along with these poison shots in the past because you felt there was no other choice, please know that you do NOT HAVE TO DO IT! That’s just another of their bullying tactics – to scare parents who don’t feel capable of (or want to) home school their children into HAVING to vaccinate or else their child can’t attend PS. It is simply NOT TRUE! Your local school district can provide you with the waiver to sign.
If a woman were to get H1N1 the fever and other side effects could easily cause a miscarriage. I work in a hospital where more than several people have died due to H1N1. Currently all of our ECMO-(heart, lung, and kidney) bypass machines, know to have a 50% survival rate once placed on them, are hooked up to patients that have had serious H1N1 infections in otherwise healthy people. I am speaking from my own experiences on a subject that many people have not even the slightest clue about. Skewed statistics, fad-medicine, and mistrust of institutions have taught us to throw out all reason. While I do agree that there is no absolute safe vaccine, what other natural medicine or alternative is? I have studied natural/organic treatment and remedies and have found that most have terrible consequences, often due to misuse or lack of respect for them, but frequently due to incompatibility with the individual. I encourage everyone to read peer reviewed journals with third party verification regarding vaccines and you will see hard evidence that supports their use and benefit, not absolute safety in every situation. Good luck making decisions for your health. May they be informed and not based on irrational fears.
H1N1 vaccine causes house fires: I just got the H1N1 vaccine a week ago and guess what… My house caught fire just five days later. Coincidence I think not! I have never had a house catch fire before now. I have changed nothing in my daily routine. The only thing different is the vaccine. There I proved it!

I am 19 weeks pregnant with my first child. When the all the hype came out about pregnant women getting the H1N1 vaccine, I was told by doctors to get both the regular flu and the swine flu shot. I agreed and was prepared to get both shots. Back in the beginning of October, I walked into the local Walgreens and signed-up for the regular flu vaccine. As I went into the office to get the shot, the nurse stopped me and said I couldn’t get one without a Dr.s note. I was annoyed at the time, but when I look back now I can’t help but think maybe there was a bit of divine intervention taking place.
As for the H1N1 vaccine, I was waiting for that shot to be made available in my ob/gyn’s office for a quite a while. But when the shot finally arrived a couple of weeks ago, I had a gut feeling NOT to get it. After reading these horrible stories, I am so glad I did not get these vaccines.
I am not convinced that there has been adaquate research done on the effect of vaccines on an unborn child. Also, I am a bit alarmed at the fact that not all doctors are convinced either. My sis-in-law is 6 1/2 months pregnant and her doctor told her NOT to get the H1N1 vaccine because he didn’t want her to be a “guinea pig”. Interesting.
My heart goes out to all these women who have had miscarriages. It is truly a mother-to-be’s worst nightmare.
I’m just wondering… when I was pregnant in 2007 women were told to get the annual flu shot, I did everything went fine. the H1N1 is supposed to be the same base as the annual flu but with a different strain of virus (H1N1). I too received the H1N1 vaccine just one day before finding out I was pregnant (Nov 2). On Nov 12th I miscarried. I was 6 weeks pregnant. I have no other medical conditions and had 3 other healthy and to term pregnancies. I work in a hospital setting and was pushed by my employer to get vaccinated. My gut told me no but I did it anyway… now living to regret it.
Now wondering how long to wait to try to conceive again to be sure the “effects” of the vaccine are out of my system…
Well, are you really surprised? I mean it is really sad, loosing your child. I have two of my own…
Once you are pregnant you immunesystem makes less of the TH1-cells in order for you to be able to keep the child- it is in fact a kind of intruder since the fetus carries half of the fathers genes. So when you take a flu shot the immunsystem is really “offended” and has to make lots and lots of effort – so who is the enemy? The fetus or the virus injected? Who cares- just get rid of it. And it does.
I am amazed that this knowledge is not told by the doctors worldwide. In Sweden where I live they say that pregnant are at greater risk catching the flu so therefore they really should take the flu shot.

My post is more about the childhood vaccines more than the flu vaccines. I have 6 children who were all born healthy with perfect apgars. 4 now have severe allergies and wretched asthma, for which 2 have been repeatedly hospitalized. I looked back and started documenting when this may have happened in relation to their vaccines and it is now my firm belief that their illness is directly linked to these vaccines overwhelming their tiny immune systems. I wish I could have those days back, so I could run from the pediatricians office with my children. They suffer so much. This of course means I will NEVER EVER subject them to those flu vaccine TOXINS. My heart and prayers are with all you women who lost your precious babies.
This all sounds a little crazy. There are almost no drugs that have been tested in pregnant women or children for safety. So, anytime you give your kids (0-18 years of age) any drugs you are taking a risk. The only way we know that it is safe is that doctors have not reported adverse events in these populations.
If you want a vaccine that is safe and well tested you will have to wait at least one to two years just for proper clinical testing. That is if enough people, including women and children, enroll. Now, a problem arises that pregnant women and children do not want new drugs in their bodies.

al–i too was wondering how long before i could conceive again, wanting to make sure the vaccine did not affect future pregnancy, as me and my husband want to try right away. i went to local health shop and they have advised me to take these homeopathic drops that cleanse/detox the cells, essentially helping the body eliminate the mercury and preservatives found in the vaccine. it’s a 10 day detox, and i have started this hoping it will create a safer, toxin-free environment for my future pregnancy. crossing my fingers and hoping that i can conceive again and that the shot has not affected my fertility. let me know if you want the name of the product. thanks.
Im 12 weeks pregnant and I got the vaccine about a week and a half ago. I went in for an ultrasound today and everything looks perfectly fine! People automatically assume that when 1 in 10,000 women miscarry after the shot that everyone is. My OB said the shot was perfectly fine and all of her patients have reacted well to it, so are you SURE its the shot? or just extremely bad timing..
I recieved the h1n1 vaccine when I was 28 weeks along in pregnancy. I am now 34 weeks along and everything is fine. Last week my husband came down with the flu and I didnt get sick or anything from it, probably because I did get the vaccine.
My whole family has had the H1N1 flu. Yeah it sucked. We all still have coughs.. but we are all alive. My 6 month old un-vaxed baby included.
