U.S. health authorities have made pregnant women one of the highest priority groups for getting the H1N1 swine flu vaccine, but is it actually safe for pregnant women and their babies? Vaccines and pregnancy simply do not mix safely. In fact, the package inserts for the swine flu vaccines actually say that the safety of these vaccines for pregnant women has not been established.

On Tuesday morning, I started cramping and on Wednesday I started bleeding heavily. My hcg was 50 on Wednesday and I was almost 6 weeks along so it was low. They still thought that I might be pregnant but on Friday my hcg was down to 22. I am an emotional wreck. I feel like I had a healthy baby and I caused this by getting the H1N1 vaccine. My doctors pushed it. I researched online and there have been many miscarriages after the H1N1 vaccine but they haven't been reported since it is hard to say what caused the miscarriages. I hope that I did not cause this. I wish everyone the best.

I don't have an answer for you, but a friend of a friend just had a miscarriage 2-3 days after getting the shot. She was 7weeks. She had no previous history of m/c... No one can answer if they're related...it hasn't been out long enough and there haven't been any studies done on pregnant women. I will tell you, that it has made up my mind on getting it...I won't and I'm not going to get it for my DD either. My daughter and I both had H1N1 last week, and although it truly sucks...I think I'll take my chances. One doctor will tell you to get it and the next will tell you not too...you have to do what's in your heart.

my heart goes out to you as i recently miscarried as well and was due in june. i had a healthy heart beat at 6wks. then at 7.5 wks my son got the h1n1 mist vaccine which has live vaccine in it. the nurse said to be careful b/c it could technically spread if he rubbed his nose and touched a surface etc. the next night i miscarried and 5 days later was diagnosed with h1n1. i work from home, kids are home, hadnt been anywhere during that time. so the chances that it is all related are very high. the flu mist vaccine warns for immunocompromised patients (which includes prego) to stay away from recipients of the flu mist for 21 days.

My baby was growing at the correct pace and everyone wants to brush off the vaccination. I received the H1N1 vaccine on October 16th and started experiencing cramping on the 22nd. I was nearly 17 weeks pregnant and gave birth to a stillborn baby boy on the 23rd. Like many of the other women here, the first thing I suspected was the H1N1 vaccine. I immediately asked a nurse at the hospital if that would have anything to do with it. Without hesitation, she told me “absolutely not.” I had reservations about getting the vaccine, but followed the advice of my long trusted family doctor. In a follow up appointment with my doctor 3 days after I lost my baby, I asked him if the vaccine would have had any adverse effects on my baby. He also said that it was not possible. I don’t believe that my doctor was necessarily lying to me, he was simply following the accepted practices and opinions of his field. I do, however, believe that as a nation, we are being lied to. This vaccine is NOT safe during pregnancy. There has not been enough testing done to determine this and there are far too many “coincidences” for this to be anything but a result of a vaccine that was hastily pushed into production and distribution in an effort to stop widespread panic. I have read so many stories in defense of the vaccine that will talk about how common miscarriages are, but I would challenge you to ask ANY health care professional how common second trimester miscarriages are. My baby was doing perfect developmentally and I had felt him move earlier that day. My heart goes out to all of you out there who have had to go through the same heartache and loss that I have had in the last couple of weeks. There is no reason that any woman or family should have to go through this. Get the word out to all of the pregnant women that you know. I know that if I had heard that women had been losing their babies shortly after they received the vaccine, I would have followed my gut and not gotten it myself. I’m from a town of 2000 in SD, there are several women pregnant and we are all due within a few weeks of each other. Four of us got the H1N1 vaccine 2 weeks ago and one by one each of us started to have preterm contractions. We are all due in Nov and Dec so we are further along than most of the people that lost their babies. There is no way you can tell us that our preterm labor was not caused by the H1N1 vaccine. I got a flu shot in pregnancy, developed incredibly strange symptoms immediately (numb hands, feet and mouth, heart palpitations, sudden weakness in my legs, a bright red face), began bleeding and miscarried by 11 weeks. I had no idea there was mercury in most flu shots but once I found out after the fact, I was assured that I’d had the “mercury free” form. As it turned out, the shot wasn’t completely mercury free and, according to the EPA website, it still had 5,000 times the limit for mercury in drinking water– not to mention a list of other toxins (MSG, formaldehyde, etc.).
I’d had no idea the shots were so dirty. I guess I’d been under the impression they were something like sterile water and a dead virus, that’s it.
The strange symptoms– which I’d been told were “just pregnancy” lasted six months. No one could figure out what was wrong with me, why I couldn’t make stairs, why I felt like I’d been shot with novocaine. I learned later from a book by Jane Hightower that these were all symptoms of mercury exposure. I guess I’m one of those susceptible people. No one in my family is getting the H1N1– no one even gets regular flu shots anymore, we all read labels.
If you are a pregnant mother, please do not take the H1N1 swine flu vaccine. Instead, do everything that you can do to avoid public places and make sure to wash your hands more than you usually would. Take extra large doses of immunity building vitamins and research many of the great natural ways for fighting the flu that are out there on the Internet.
The truth is that if you do take the vaccine and then something happens, you will NOT be able to sue anyone (thanks to Congress). You will have to bear all the responsibility yourself. That doctor who kept pushing and pushing it on you will tell you that it could not have been the vaccine and that you probably would have miscarried anyway.
Do you honestly want to inject a vaccine that may contain mercury, formaldehyde, polysorbate 80 (associated with infertility), triton X100 (a strong detergent), phenoxyethanol (antifreeze) and a whole bunch of other toxic ingredients into your system when you know that your baby will absorb it too and has no defenses against most of these things?

The reality is that if you are pregnant, you need to hear what both sides have to say before ever subjecting your baby to the swine flu vaccine. I was in support of vaccines and was comfortable with the fact that there is a national database that records “all” vaccine reactions so they can see trends and such – which is the info I got from my doctor.
Then, my daughter had a reaction to a vaccine at 18 months old. It was horrifying to watch her body swell for three days and not be able to do anything (Benadryl slowed the swelling, but couldn’t reverse it until three days had passed). I knew there were risks to vaccines, but it had seemed that the benefits outweighed the risks. I could have accepted that.
I was not prepared for the reaction of the medical community. My doctor’s office refused to admit it was a reaction – even while she was swelling! They were concerned about the swelling, asked me if I knew how it started, then, when I mentioned that I suspected the vaccine they sent me home and said I was imagining things. A few hours later she had to go to the ER. Later I took her to an allergist who confirmed that it was a reaction. He told me that a lot of people react to the 3rd DTaP shot – even if they’ve been fine before. Still, he encouraged me to continue getting all the shots except for the last DTaP.
No one ever reported any of this to the national database.
My pediatrician pressured me to get more shots for my kids, but I refused. I’ve recently found out my kids’ medical records falsely state that my kids DID get additional vaccines.
My daughter had been ahead on speech milestones at the time of the reaction, from that date (October) to the following July, she only learned 8 new words, and her language development froze. We’ve done three years of therapy now and she is in special ed.

I have a beautiful 2 and 1/2 year old daughter who was born a month premature, at the time, all the health care practitioners involved in our lives strongly were pushing that she receive all the ‘necessary’ vaccines…. Her condition quickly spiraled downward into 2am visits to the hospital for a Ventilator because her chest was so tight each breath was a huge effort. Needless to say I will never let another vaccination needle touch her little body again. Weather our health system wants to admit it was related or not I cant help but believe that it was. Other than being small she was 100% healthy at birth and remained that way for 3 months…. until her first set of shots.

One of the reasons they are is because it was formerly believed that infection with the flu virus during pregnancy caused an increased incidence of schizophrenia and autism in the offspring as they reached adulthood or aged.
It has since been established, using hard science, that the higher incidence of schizophrenia and autism was not due to the flu virus itself, but due to the immune cytokines generated by the mother in response to the virus, entering the baby’s brain and causing abnormal brain development. Vaccination causes the same cytokine response, and the risk of developing these problems that are supposedly being avoided by vaccinating are instead increased in the order of 14-fold. “I can not think of anything more insane than vaccinating pregnant women,” says Dr Blaylock.

With all that I have read and the research that I have been able to read up on, I do not trust this shot. I am not big on vaccinations to begin with. My children got chicken pox 7 times and the doctor had the (nerve?) to tell me that I should get my child vaccinated against chicken pox. OK folks, how many times are my kids going to get it and why would I deliberately inject them with the stuff? When we did vaccinations my kids always got sick from them. I didn’t see the benefit in the end. My family is DEFINITELY NOT getting this H1N1 flu shot. There is no way! We have been exposed to the H1N1 virus a few times already and are not afraid of it. If it happens it happens. I am not going to inject it in my body or the body of my family.
The government and health care providers that are pushing this either have a second agenda or really stupid. Either way, it just is not going to happen in my household.

Voodoo Lady … 28% of pregnant women who have been hospitalized! The key here is “who have been hospitalized”. So, let’s just say that 100 women contracted H1N1 and of those 100 women 10 ended up in the hospital with 28% of those woman who have been hospitalized dying of complications. That translates into 2.8% mortality rate. 10 out of 1000 women end up in hospital with 28% dying translates into a .28% mortality rate. So as you can see this 28% number is incredibly misleading and needs to be explained further to have true value. I would love to know what the actual numbers are: how many women on average are contracting H1N1 and how many of those women on average end up hospitalized.

Did you read the package insert? Actual scientific research from the company that MADE the vaccine stated that NO research was available for pregnant women and effects were unknown. The company that MADE the vaccine stated not to give to pregnant women unless in specific circumstances.
How can you argue for scientific evidence when it’s there and available from the very people you obviously trust with your life?
I had the shot on Oct. 28th. Found out on Nov. 10th that I am pregnant. I will keep all this in mind during my pregnancy. Crossing my fingers. I am sorry for all the babies that have been lost my heart breaks for all the mommies.

PREFACE.
The author of the following essay became deeply impressed with the importance of the subject fourteen years ago, by an accident alluded to in the essay, which accident made him sceptical of the value of vaccination. As medical referee to one of the largest and most prosperous life assurance corporations, he was led to observe the apparent large mortality in vaccinated persons from what is commonly called “consumption,” a great number being cut off in the flower of their age, while those, belonging to the same families, having had small-pox arrived at maturity. The very rare occurrence of phthisis in those who had had small-pox strengthened the idea which the author had conceived, that vaccina¬tion, while it prevented small-pox, increased the danger to life when the subject was overtaken by other diseases. The conclusions to which he came, from the data he collected, was, that vaccination generally was ineffici¬ently performed; further inquiry, however, convinced him that vaccination is a crime against nature, and ought not to be enforced.
The Lancet, when the first Compulsory Vaccination Bill was before Parliament, on the 21st May, 1853, thus expressed itself on vaccination: “In the public mind, extensively, and in the profession itself, doubts are known to exist as to the efficacy and eligibility of vaccination—the failures of the operation have been numerous and discouraging.”

Need to correct something here: 28% of pregnant women hospitalized for H1N1 have NOT, I repeat NOT, died. The number is 28 pregnant women have died after being hospitalized for H1N1. Total. 28 total since H1N1 broke out last spring.
I too am not a big fan of vaccines, have never done the regular flu shot, am not getting the H1N1 shot for my young kids. I wish I could say I made these decisions on sound facts but frankly it’s more a of a feeling. There is not solid evidence that the vaccines are harmful. You make the decision to vaccinate or not vaccinate at your own risk.
It is absolutely devastating to have a miscarriage, my love goes to the women reporting above. It is true, though, that miscarriages are more common than most women realize. You are not getting comments from the thousands of women in the same time frame who miscarried yet did not receive the vaccine.

How can you trust people that make money off of you being sick? If you actually got better the Doctors would be out of a job! There is a time and a place for medicine, but not when you are growing a baby! Most of the “problems” that women have are somehow caused by the medical system itself… If the baby is born by c-sec, goes to neonatal, has breathing or heart troubles, adhd, allergies ect. the doctors have a life-long income! They make alot more money off of you than if you deliver naturally at home, have a healthy baby and stay out of their offices as much as humanly possible. It can be done! I have 5 living children and none of us has been to a doctor for ANYTHING for 4 years. And everyone is perfect!
Trust God not the doctors. Pregnancy isn’t supposed to be a life threatening disease, it is natural. I am so sorry you all misscarried. I lost a baby too a few years ago and still have a hard time sometimes. I understand. I hope you all can have more wonderful children and that you use a little medical intervention as possible!
This highlites the problems with knowing more about, pop culture and sports than you know about your own body. A little research makes it easy to determine the fallacies behind injecting someone with monkey kidneys, mercury, squalene, MSG, and other potential toxins in hopes of building antibodies to any disease. I’m not sure how that even passes the sniff test with anyone with 1/2 a brain.
The evidence for better hygene, improved sanitation and running water decreasing diseases like, smallpox, DPT, Rubella, etc. is much stronger than any “peer reviewed” evidence that vaccines actually did anything. Besides the Amish studies helped disprove they myths behind vaccines.

As Unknown wrote above, the evidence for better hygiene etc, plus better living/working conditions and relative wealth has more to do with improved physical health for populations – when vaccination was introduced, Europe’s cities were awash with poverty, we’re talking many millions of extremely poor over worked people living in dirty conditions, not by choice….. with the vaccination programs came also changes in sanitation, working practices and wealth generation… and it was the latter that made the difference….
The European 9th century plague is a case in point – it decimated cities and towns, which were mostly hovels for the poor around fortified blocks for the rich. The rural areas survived, because most peasants, once freed from Overlords, tended towards healthy practices – the result of common-sense. Gypseys and nomadic peoples survived better too. And for a long time there was peace in European fields and forests….
Todays Pharmaceuticals are like the old roman empire/church, selling snake oil for a salvation no-one has ever seen proven.
Basic common sense – the body can only metabolise what it is expecting to find within the habitat it is born into, and for which it is, by implication, designed… in that a flower is an expectation of a bug (or some pollinator or other), a human body is also a set of natural expectations. Disease arises when those expectations are not met…..like wise psychological distress arises in direct proportion to the extent that natural psychological expectations are not met.

These are the gangsters that you want to “reform” a.k.a. highjack your ENTIRE health care system? You do understand that the establishment will be able to come to your home and force vaccinations on you and your family without consent? There is a world of difference between eating something and shooting up with it – not to mention the fact that the chemical compounds in the two sources are not exactly the same.
There is a very big difference from eating some fish with mercury in it, and shooting it into your bloodstream, just like there is a big difference in eating oil with squalene in it, like olive oil, and injecting it into your bloodstream. Squalene occurs in your body, mainly in the nervous system and is a necessary thing, but once you inject it, your body (white blood cells) attacks it like it does the virus cell, and learns to attack it at other sites in your body, where it is needed. This leads to some of the various nervous system disorders that can result from vaccines with squalene included.
To compare mercury in a can of tuna to mercury in a vaccine is like equating CO2 and H20 because the both contain oxygen. Neither performs the same function as oxygen when you inhale them, do they?
I got the regular flu vaccine December 1st 2008 and was 18 weeks pregnant. Within a week I had horrible symptoms, my joints were extremely sore, numbness in my legs and arms and I really didn’t want to get off the couch for a week. Within 28 days I went into premature labor and gave birth to our son and he was dead. He was diagnosed with GBS. I am not sure if the regular flu vaccine caused it, but my gut is telling me NOT to get another flu vaccine. I am currently pregnant again at 10 weeks and 3 days and I am not going to get the h1 vaccine or the regular flu vaccine. Although, I have been diagnosed with thrombophilia (blood clotting disorder) and a increased NK Cells, maybe the vaccines feed of my condition.
My heart goes out to all the woman and husbands that have had to go through such pain.

I got a simple tetanus shot in April this year — my first vaccine in 25 years. A few weeks later I lost most of my hair, and I was so exhausted all the time I just wanted to sleep most of the day. My teeth got loose, I had Alzheimer’s symptoms, my speech became slurred, my vision became blurred, I lost my libido, within weeks I seemed to age decades, my period became irregular and painful and then stopped entirely. Yet my blood tests all came back normal, and the doctors told me I was imagining this.
Then I developped a tumor in my left upper arm — where I had gotten the shot. Only when I found a good homoepath I was diagnose with mercury poisoning. Normal physicians simply are not aware of the dangers of vaccines.
I wish I had gotten informed about mercury before getting the shot instead of after the damage was done. I will never ever ever ever get any vaccines again. Waking up to the truth about vaccines at the same time as this fake pandemic is being pushed, combined with the danger of mandatory vaccinations, and while watching all these women loose their babies is a nightmare every single day.
The link to NIAID is most enlightening if you read it. It says nothing to address the reaction of the pregnancy itself to the vaccine and they purposely excluded treating 1st trimester pregnancy because “Miscarriage (loss of pregnancy) occurs more frequently during the first trimester than during later trimesters. Vaccination against seasonal influenza is not associated with miscarriage but the expected higher rate of miscarriage in the first trimester—from causes unrelated to vaccine or any other intervention—could make interpreting results of the trial more difficult, and so women in their first trimester of pregnancy were not included in this trial.” A simple comparison of miscarriage rates to NON VACCINATED women would have solved this interpretation problem. Also, the test vaccine was mercury and squalene free. The vaccine being given to the public contains one or both of these substances. In a nutshell what this means is that the test is not at all related to the vaccine being given and anyone who receives the vaccine is being used as a guinea pig because they are receiving a non-trialled experimental vaccine.

When our daughter was 18 mos she had a severe reaction to her immunizations – extremely high temp, inconsolable, and it lasted for days after the shot – it was aweful. She even displayed some signs of autism, which scared us to no end, but finally subsides. We began to be wary of all vaccines and now regret giving the few that we did to our three kids. Of course the Dr’s have all given us a hard time. We homeschool, and I have heard that since homeschooled children usually have less vaccines (the schools require all vaccines to be “up to date”) that there are less incidents of autism. I think a lot of people have made bad decisions in addition to making a lot of money off of vaccines. God did not intend for us to pump toxins into our blood streams. On the back of my kids’ records it says “Baby Shots, A Healthy Dose of Love!” – NOT. I cried when I read about the death of all these babies.

In Ontario a public health official believe that the projected 2 billion spent on h1n1 vaccine will save 40 lives. That’s 50 million per life saved… how many lives will be lost to miscarriage? For all those well meaning nay-sayers who say the vaccines are not responsible for these women’s miscarriages, I say phooey! You say that these women would have had the miscarriages anyhow (why though are they having the statistical miscarriage directly after the shot?). Well, I have not one, but two children with autism after getting the childhood vaccines. I trusted the doctors who bullied me into it. They talked me into it and said there was relatively little chance my children would have a reaction. Well, after the shots my kids got so sick I had to put both of them in the hospital for 4 days on IVs. Their limbs were limp and they couldn’t hold their heads up – all they could do was lay there and have diarrhea and fevers. I thought they were going to die. After that they were delayed and got autism diagnosis. Now explain with your statistics how many children had autism before the ’80s….1 in 10,000!!! Recently it has been figured at 1/60 -90 depending on the source or state. Statistically there is no such thing as a genetic epidemic. There is likely a genetic component or weakness that is set off by some environmental insult to the system. I’d say a likely culprit is vaccines in combination with our crappy modern diet of highly processed foods and junk plus a lack of proper sunlight and vit D3.
People, get vaccines at your own perilous risk…especially the bioengineered H1N1. By the way, seems the Ukraine is suffering from a biological attack of a much scarier epidemic than this wispy H1N1. Strange that a scientist, Moshe, warned the public on a radio station that Baxter was going to release a bioengineered flu in the Ukraine. It will be very interesting, and scary, to see how this unfolds and who will die from that strain. By the way, I haven’t yet found even 1 double blind study on the effectiveness of vaccines of any sort. There aren’t any! Why not??? I had the h1n1 vaccine at 25 weeks of pregnancy. I am now 28 weeks and haven’t seen any side affects from getting it.
I am also aware of many other pregnant women that have gotten this vaccine and haven’t lost their babies. From 5 people that I know, ranging in different stages of pregnancy, not one of them has reported any side affects and not one of them has lost their baby.
Also, a vaccine is not injected into a blood stream. To go directly into the blood stream, the nurse would need to get inside the vain, not just pinch up the top of your arm.
Hmmm…guess abortion isn’t killing enough babies, fast enough to suit our eugenicist masters. Can’t have us “useless eaters” breeding so fast, now can we? So, shoot the breeders full of crap to make them spontaneously abort their babies, and reduce their ability to carry a baby to term in future. I did not take the time to read all of these posts, but wanted to state that I am NOT for all of the extra vaccinations. My family and I (4 of us) got the regular flu mist and then about 30 days later got the H1N1 mist and we are all fine, no side effects. I did get a sore throat, but have severe allergies to barn/farm animals and hay….and we went to a pumpkin patch farm outing 2 days after getting the H1N1 mist so I blame the normal allergens. I noticed that someone said she got both vaccinations at once…on another blog I believe. She was pregnant and miscarried. I was told you have to wait 28-30 days between these vaccinations?!?
